We know you don’t only depend on your system... you depend on us!
That’s why we at West Coast Business Equipment believe the real definition of “Company” is Teamwork.
Open since 1991, West Coast Business Equipment was established 112 years after the first register was invented. At West Coast Business Equipment, we pledge to provide distinctive quality and unparalleled customer service and products as we strive to gain the respect and trust of our customers, suppliers and partner vendors.

Owner and Computer-Based POS Specialist
Geof is the owner of WCBE and our esteemed team leader. At 6’6, he is probably the tallest computer-based POS technician in the world… or at least in Ontario, California.
With a Computer Science degree, Geof “fell into” the Point of Sale industry by way of Sweda Register Company. When they closed in 1991, the idea to create West Coast Business Equipment was born and here we are.
Warning: Geof is very friendly and will not only talk to you for hours but try to make you laugh too. If you see him, you must smile immediately.
Service Manager and Cash Register Specialist
Steve, our knowledgeable cash register specialist, began his career in electronics in the military. After leaving the Army, Steve felt it was only natural to go into the family business repairing typewriters.
Having worked a time at Stockwell and Benny, Steve turned down the opportunity to study copier machines and slowly made his way to the point of sale industry instead – gaining over 20 years of experience with registers. Now, he happily divides his time between Laker games and servicing our excellent customers.
Favorite Outdoor Activity: Steve loves to take his RV and four-wheelers out in the desert (and occasionally a country music concert) with his family for some much needed R&R.
Computer-Based POS Specialist
We’d like to introduce you to the newest member of our Service Department. Nathan is one of our Future POS service technicians.
Having sharpened his knowledge in the Silicone Valley and with companies such as Comcash, Nathan left the luxury and travel of the trade show circuit to bring his expertise to our beautiful Southern California office. When he is not putting out technical fires, he is out enjoying the weather and playing a round of golf with Steve.
Little Known Fact: You may not see him on the Food Network anytime soon but Nathan has a passion for jazz music and the culinary arts!
Office Manager and Accounts Receivable
Monica owned a business with her siblings by the time she was 12 and comes from an old-fashioned school of thought that values hard work, honesty and customer service. Though she’s the youngest of the team, she has been designated the “mom” of the bunch because of her over-organization and strict attention to detail. Most importantly, she makes sure that the boys are always in line and the customers are always taken care of. Se Habla Español.
